Breve descripción del Proyecto: In the province of Santa, Ancash- Peru, there are 10,007 people with disabilities and a high percentage is in five Special Basic Education centers (C.E.B.E) and two early intervention programs (PRITE), run by the state, which serve the population. schoolchildren with disabilities and multi-disabilities from 0 to 20 years of age. None of these centers is implemented with specific spaces to promote states of calm and low tension to control behavior and emotions in students, helping them improve their learning, according to their clinical condition, in such a way that they are allowed to access a decent education. . Given this need, it is formulated to implement the first sensory park for special basic education that would be located in the
C.E.B.E "Fe y Alegría" 42 which has the necessary land area and the specialized teaching and support staff to serve this population. In the park, students will learn, while they play, basic motor skills that will allow them to have greater control of their body coordination, balance and spatial orientation. The programmed interventions will be based on the teaching of content that takes into account the student's strengths and barriers, all through games and activities of their liking so that learning flows more easily. Likewise, the project will provide training to teachers, psychologists, therapists, families and other professionals of the benefited population, of the 5 special basic education centers and the two early intervention programs (PRITE).
