Granting access to hearing aids for 300 economically disadvantaged children and adolescents, ranging from first to sixth grade in secondary school, within the Santa Cruz department of Bolivia, in order to reduce the impact that disability produces on their academic and overall education.
Specific Objectives
To introduce children and adolescents with hearing disabilities to the effective use of hearing aids by providing training on proper usage, handling, and maintenance of the devices. This aims to mitigate the impact of hearing disabilities on their academic and overall development.
To provide children and adolescents with hearing disabilities with tools facilitating their connection with family and society. This involves implementing a training plan that fosters their holistic development.
Educate parents, guardians, and teachers on hearing health, proper care for hearing aids, and emotional support for children and adolescents with hearing disabilities.
