Our main objective is to promote the integral development of children, youth and adults in vulnerable situations through the development of programs that strengthen social, cognitive and technological skills that promote a culture of peace, social welfare and prosperity. Promotora de Apoyo a la Juventud, I.A.P. has been working for 25 years with children, youth and adults in vulnerable situations who are living on the outskirts of the City of Los Mochis. Humanitarian Projects - Project Planning Describe the community needs that your project will address. High rates of juvenile delinquency, problems of addictions, conditions of poverty and extreme poverty that unleash different social problems, are putting children and young people at risk of street and are highly vulnerable to drug consumption, alcohol, drug trafficking, crime. In hostile contexts, education generally happens not to be a priority in families, and much less, the integral formation of people. How did your project team identify these needs. Promotora de Apoyo a la Juventud, I.A.P. has been working for 25 years in the neighborhoods where the project is to be carried out, and they have directly identified these needs. How were members of the benefiting community involved in finding solutions. Many parents have approached Promotora de Apoyo a la Juventud, I.A.P. to request help and intervention so that their children do not fall into the vice of drug use and into the hands of delinquency. How were community members involved in planning the project. Promotora de Apoyo a la Juventud, I.A.P., through its operational team, has taken into account the suggestions and PETITIONS of the people assisted to carry out the planning of this project. Are local initiatives not addressing these needs? Or, if they are, why did you decide not to work with them? No. There are no other initiatives locally that work on solving this problems. Please describe the training, community outreach, or educational programs this project will include. 1. 192 sessions to strengthen social skills to tend 300 children from the neighborhoods surrounding the two Youth Centers in Los Mochis. 2. Conduct 48 sessions of 2 hours of training and accompaniment to 80 youth leaders. 3. Perform 120 sessions of 2 hours of brigade of joy in 10 different areas of the municipality. 4. a) 96 basic programming sessions for 300 children and adolescents. b) 96 experimentation sessions for 300 children and adolescents. c) 96 robotics sessions for 300 children and adolescents. 5. 192 sessions of digital literacy, introduction to computing, internet and Microsoft tools. 6. 96 training sessions in graphic design and digital edition. Certificates will be awarded to attendees who comply with the activities to be performed. Budget Will you purchase budget items from local vendors? Explain the process you used to select vendors. Yes.
