Humanitarian Projects - Project Planning Describe the community needs that your project will address. The community will be assisted in the form of training, information and follow-up for home treatment of children and young people with down syndrome without their being addressed to the institution. This will make rehabilitation more consistent as the family will always be close. How did your project team identify these needs. Através do estudo realizado pela instituição AFECE, pois conta com alguns anos perfazendo esse acompanhamento e detectou que muitas famílias entregam as crianças, ou por medo de não saber administrar o problema ou por comodismo mesmo. How were members of the benefiting community involved in finding solutions. Through lectures given by the AFECE institution, but with limited scope. Most of the time, few people go to the place of the institution because they are low income and have problems with mobility. How were community members involved in planning the project. Showing the benefit of the proximity of children and young people to the caring family. Through the testimony of families who performed these actions, the recovery rate and improvement in the quality of life of those cared for was incredible.
