The Rotary Club of Naval Base San Diego will provide reading books to all second grade students at Hancock Elementary School in San Diego. During the 2015-2016 school year, Club members will distribute the books and read to students in the classroom. The timeline is approximately February through May, 2016. Please close ASAP after project is completed. 31-May-16 by Sheri Painter As of May 13, 2016 NBSD Rotary Club has completed our final reading at Hancock Elementary School. Upon completion, 7 readers have read to aprox 100 students in both 2nd & 3rd grade. We have gifted 400 books, and 100 backpacks, dictionaries and colored pencil sets to the kids.
