Summary: Building Youth Programs which will lead to Stronger Rotary Clubs in the Future


Mission Valley Sunset Rotary Club is interested in helping to build stronger Youth Services programs which will include a transition to Rotary at the end of the Youth Pipeline. These programs include:

--LEAD PROGRAM for 8th grade students--held in October at Camp Cuyamaca--$500 (2 students)

--RYLA--Weekend campout for 11th grade students at Idyllwild--$750 (3 students)

--Model United Nations--conference at USD for high school--$750 (2 students + advisor)

--Interact Club at Kearny HS--$2000.

--City Heights Rotaract Club--$2000.

District 5340 Rotary Foundation Committee approved $3,000 DDF match for the Grant at the 8-22-16, meeting. Approval contingent upon 2 people from the Club attend District Grant Webinar. Primary Contact Person is strongly encouraged to attend. Date to be announced. Funds will be sent after approval from The Rotary Foundation.
