Project Description Country: USA Location: Elmhurst Total Budget: $6,000 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Provide Thanksgiving Dinner to approximately 500 community members. This is one of our club's signature events. Each year we provide a Thanksgiving Dinner to approximately 500 members of the community. Many of these individuals unable to afford a Thanksgiving meal, while some are people without partners or family. Approximately 15-20 club members volunteer for both seatings, setting up, cleaning up and assisting the banquet hall staff as needed. Free tickets to the event are distributed through various local organizations as well as directly by club members.
