Project Description Country: USA Location: Tinley Park Total Budget: $700 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: We provide dictionaries to 3rd graders in the Dolton-Rviderdale School District in Dolton, Illinois. Our club has identified a low income school district in which to provide dictionaries to their 3rd graders. This community partnership allows us to promote our Rotary Club and promote literacy in one of our neighboring communities. We will purchase the dictionaries and prepare them for distribution in early November. We are always excited to visit the schools in order to make the presentation. This is a project that is very near and dear to our Rotary club and we have been doing it for well over 15 years.
