South High School Interact Club in Cheyenne is raising money for the Veterans Help Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps veterans. The organization helps to lead and organize hunting trips, and they also work locally in Cheyenne. We are making a Thanksgiving themed "boo gram" to help raise money. We will sell each Thanksgiving-gram for $1 a piece. All proceeds will go towards this organization. We are taking tissue paper, putting candy in them and rolling them up at the top, and tying them off with string. All the items needed are listed below. We will sell these items during lunches and our ELO time. We will also put up posters and promote our club with custom t-shirts. Because our club is new, we are asking for help in purchasing shirts so we can sell the Thanksgiving-grams and participate in future volunteer events having a professional, unified look. In total, we are requesting $250 from Rotary. Interact will cover an additional $125. Interact will cover the $125 by having members purchase shirts for $5 each, bringing in a total of $125.
This project assist with fundraising by providing money for supplies but will also be their first project as a new club, helping bring the club together in service to veterans that need their help.
