Summary: Food provided to feed children from low income families on the weekends during the school year in Tarrant and Johnson County, TX.


Counselors in the Crowley ISD have identified children that are not being properly fed over the weekends during the school year.

The Crowley House of Hope utilizes volunteers and donations to purchase and package food packets (Snack Sacks) that are provided weekly to various schools within the district. The counselors select those students that are in highest need each week and distribute the Snack Sacks each Friday.

The Burleson Area Midday Rotary Club would partner with the House of Hope. The Club would purchase $2400 in required food products, Club members would package and prepare Snack Sacks, and the House of Hope would deliver the packages to the schools.
