Project Description

Country: USA

Location: Kemmerer

Total Budget: $1,822

Area of Focus: Community economic development

Activity Type: Community Development: General

Summary: The Kemmerer Little League is asking Rotary to put a fence around the playground at the baseball fields so that the kids will not be playing in the pond.

The Kemmerer Little League is improving the community's baseball fields, which, have been in need of repair for some time. Part of this includes putting in a playground with a fence around it. The PTO and Lincoln County School District #1 have donated the playground equipment for this project. However, with there is a pond right by the playground equipment and the baseball fields. This pond poses a very big community concern. Many children are often found playing in the pond or all too close to the pond. In an effort to reduce the risk of a child drowning, the Kemmerer Little League has asked the Kemmerer Rotary Club to build a fence around the playground equipment. The Kemmerer Rotary Club will be the manpower in building and installing the fence.

Bridget,

This is a 20-21 project not a 19-20 project. I have cancelled the signature process so you can edit your description to make that change. Once you have completed that you will need to start the signature process again and resign the project. Let me know if you have any questions.
