Project Description Country: USA Location: Summit, IL Total Budget: $500 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: This Early Childhood Education grant provided learning materials for the Summit Public Library Children's Room: CD/Bluetooth Player, Large area rug, Puppets, Puppet Theater Toys, Musical Instruments for very young children. This is an Early Childhood Education District Grant. The Summit Public Library have ongoing programs for pre-k children that are aimed at helping their multi- lingual patrons learn phonetics and lingual skills. They were in need of learning materials that this grant was able to provide: CD/Bluetooth Player, Large area rug, Puppets, Puppet Theater Toys, Musical Instruments for very young children.
