Summary: Our club plans to purchase Nintendo Switches for FUESD Technology Team's Esports.
The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District Technology Team requires more Nintendo Switches to begin their district's Esports League. Esports participants play team-based popular video games between opposing sides with Nintendo Switches. Using online gaming teams, K-12 students gain leadership skills, learn about teamwork, increase communication experience, and develop social-emotional well-being. It prepares students for potential careers in marketing, event organization, journalism, and other fields. Providing more Nintendo Switches will allow continued play for students to increase their interpersonal skills and experience in potential future careers. As soon as this project is funded, our club will work to purchase the additional gaming consoles for the 2023-24 school year.
