Project Description Country: Mexico Location: Cabo and Tecate Total Budget: $6,000 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Equipment and medical supplies for dental and surgical clinics in Baja for children with Cleft Lip & Palate We have been participating in clinics in Tecate every year in March, August and November. We have been meeting with the Rotary Club of Cabo to start a new clinic at least twice a year in Cabo. Housing is being donated for the medical staff but the critical need is for supplies and surgical equipment. The District Grant would be used to expand services, purchase equipment for the new clinics in Cabo and supplies which could be utilized at any of the clinics. Please let us know if the iterim report is enought to designate this grant as being reported. 13-Apr-12 by Susan Thorning Dr Moses provided an update on the status of the project. His email has been posted to documents. All equipment has been purchased and a check for $46.79 is being sent to the District to complete the full expenditure of the grant and interest. A final report has been posted.
