Summary: Educational equipment for Jr. High classrooms at the Rancho Santa Marta Orphanage in San Vicenta, Baja California, Mexico.
Founded over 40 years ago Rancho Santa Marta Orphanage is a working ranch and a safe haven for needy children. The orphanage provides a home for 40 abandon Mexican children and a school for 190 students from neighboring towns. Grant funds will outfit the new Rancho Santa Marta Junior High school for orphans and students with special needs. Money from this grant will be use to purchase chairs and desks, replace obsolete educational equipment such as computers, software, audio/visual equipment and whiteboards. It will also provide school supplies and materials for the students and equipment for a new biology lab.
