The goal of the project is to equip the Cancer Hospital of Presidente Prudente, a philanthropic entity, with endoscope disinfection and washing devices, aiming for the total safety of endoscopy and other procedures, in face of direct contact with patients.
This equipament will be fundamental to provide the patient safety and care during endoscopy, colonoscopy and rectosigmoidoscopy examination procedures. In order to optimize the flow of sterilization procedures and the risks of cross infection, the need is for two devices.
The beneficiary, Cancer Hospital of Presidente Prusente, is already a reality. Its construction began in 1997 with funds donated by the community and public authorities. The Rotary clubs from Presidente Prudente have had and continue to play an important role in building and equipping the hospital. The cancer patients, the city community and from the vast region are also benificied. Not to mention that the entire population is helped through preventive exams.

This project needs to receive some pledges to go to the next level. Please check the "Financing" tab to see the list of current pledges. Once the amount pledged is equal to the project budget, the status of the project will be automatically changed to "Fully Pledged". Click here to pledge support for this project.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
