Rotarians provide clean water and sanitation for schools in Turkey since 6 years at 12 primary schools through a water and sanitation project supported by a Rotary Foundation global grant.We have projected to implement 4 more schools.Total of 364 state schools are serving for student education which is free to all,however support is required to keep students in Hygienic toilets.First part of this project is rennovation work,we replace renew full ıtems in the toilets during summer holidays.Then continue monthly trainings,of volunteer parents and volunteer teachers in every school.Aawareness is created against the germs and diseases and ilnesses ,behavioural change washing hands is a subject we work on the students,each and every time before and after meals and every time they use the toilets.Volunteer family doctors,and professionals of Hygiene subject train the traineess.For children to adopt the concept in to their part of life we make essay,poem competions and ask them all to carry out paintings and drawings where the winners towards the end of the term are decided who are all fully awarded with presents.
