EXTENDED SCHEDULE PROGRAM.

Needs...

Social Justification.

According to the report of the National System of Educational Information from the 2010-2011 period (last official year, 2012 and 2013 are estimates) the State of Chihuahua enrolled 442,155 students in 2,856 primary schools (227,243 boys and 214,912 girls). It covered 94.4 % of the demand and the average length of education was 8.5 years, with a drop of 1.2 % (national average 1.5 % ).

In the data of the ENSANUT 2006 (National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2006, 2012 unofficial data), on Ciudad Juárez, the national prevalence of overweight in children of 5 to 11 years was 26% for both sexes, in children was 41% and 27% in girls and the prevalence of obesity in children was 77% and in girls of 47%

The conditions of life facing Ciudad Juárez increases the number of vulnerable groups that far from seeking opportunities for well, look for false outputs to their problems. The children of scarce resources is increasingly vulnerable to these risks, and with large gaps in academic performance, family disintegration, new models of the family, single mothers, etc. makes children on Ciudad Juarez, potential elements for conspiracy, to form part of these groups of evil.

On Ciudad Juarez, the most unprotected sector is the NORTHWEST sector. Here is located the Fronteriza Baja Colony where we are concentrating our efforts and our project. This sector has a population of 103,632 in 2010; with ages of 0-4 years 13 %, from 5 to 11 years 16.5 % (0 to 11 years 29.6 % ).

Main Goal...

Contribute to improve the educational levels with the Extended Schedule Program to encourage the development of physical and cognitive skills of the children, nutrition, and a better ecological attitude, to give confidence and develop useful skills in life.
