Project Description Country: USA Location: Aurora, IL Total Budget: $1,495 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment Activity Type: Food/Agriculture: General Summary: Purchase Refrigerator for Food Pantry on Aurora University Serving Students in Need The food pantry located on campus at Aurora University is fairly sparse with limited offerings and a limit to the number of items each student can select. Our club has researched purchasing a refrigerator in order to provide students in need with fresh produce, dairy, and other perishable items in addition to the currently provided noodles, pasta, and canned goods stocked at the pantry. A supplier of the better quality foods has also been located.
