Project Description Country: USA Location: Fort Collins, CO Total Budget: $5,000 Areas of Focus: Basic education and literacy, Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Building outdoor garden at Coyote Elementary School in Fort Collins, CO Loveland Mountain View Rotary wishes to partner with Coyote Ridge Elementary School on the construction of an outdoor garden for students. This will be our club's fifth garden project and fourth in collaboration with a school in the Thompson Valley School District. Our club will participate in the second phase of the project which is scheduled to include building nine garden beds, installing an irrigation system and constructing a pergola. When complete, the project will include an outdoor education space next to the gardens. The school intends to use the gardens as a teaching opportunity for students.
