Support for Cancer Surgery

1)There are destitute cancer patients who was diagnosed with cancer which is modern incurable disease. But they are difficult to afford homes, and prepare surgery cost so they groan of cancer pain everyday, and they are losing hope in life. So we support them with operating cost, realize humanitarian ideal seeked by Rotary.
2)Implementation period is about 3 months containing recovery time after surgery because they are critical condition
3)Since 2003-04, our club have constantly developed Matching Grants Project with Presbyterian Medical Center, Cancer Patient Support Association every year. And this year is 10th year. Until now, matching grants has been supported approximately US$308,000, total 107 destitute cancer patients operated successfully, they have a normal life. 9-year ongoing project motivates senior, politicians, Rotarian and ordinary person to service and volunteer, also promote to them.
