	D-1055    India - Tiruchirapalli Tamil Nadu Orphanage $21,000 The objective of the project is to provide basic amenities to school students from very backward sections of the society to make their educational environment better. This institution is in dire need of seperate toilets for the boys & girls attending the schools.Currently they are using a small not very well planned , not very hygenic toilet block. There is urgent need for separate toilets and it has been planned to construct an “ecosan” toilet in which both the solid and liquid wastes will be uttilised for watering and manuring the plants. In addition, the instittution is in need of essential laboratory equipment, class room furniture and computer.
