Submit a New Project

Please read carefully before submitting a project.

You can submit a new Matching Grant project to be published on this website. You should do so if you are looking for an international partner to help finance and participate in your project. You project will be included in the Main List and anybody can review the project description and eventually decide to partner with your project. You will be notified by email when your project has sufficient participation and financing to move forward.

You must have the support of your Club and current Club President to undertake a Matching Grant project. Make sure your project follows the guidelines of The Rotary Foundation for Matching Grant projects, described in the Eligibility section of this website. Make sure that there is a true partnership and understanding of what is involved in the implementation of a Matching Grant. Make sure you have all the necessary information to do the paperwork when needed, including official quotes from the vendors providing the material for this project. Clubs who did not submit progress of final reports in due time for a previous Matching Grant projects are earmarked as "delinquent" and are not allowed to submit new projects until the situation is fixed. By submitting a project to this site, you ensure us that your Club is not delinquent for any of its previous projects. We do not guarantee that you will find an international partner, but if you do we want to make sure you will bring this project to completion.

When submitting a new project, make sure you include a complete description. Only projects with a detailed description will be accepted on this site. Give us an email address that you check very often, as this is the only way you will be notified when your project is funded. You can submit pictures and other multimedia materials to describe your project. Send these by email to us (Admin@MatchingGrants.org) after you submit your project, and I will add them for you to your page.

When the project is fully funded, you will be responsible with your international partners to fill the necessary paperwork and send these to the Rotary International Foundation in Evanston. We will not provide help to fill the paperwork other than the guideline you can find in the Grant Paperwork of this website. If you find some funding on your own, we ask that you update your project page, or notify us by email, so that an international partner does not pledge support for a project that does not need it any more. Send us an email also if you need anything updated in the listing of your project.

Your project will be listed for the current Rotary year. If you do not find an international partner by the Rotary International deadline of March 31, you will be contacted by email and asked if you would like to roll over your project to the next Rotary year. If you decide to roll your project over, it will be listed for an additional year. If not, the project will be dropped from the list.
