   Ecuador - Gualaceo

Computer Labs

$14,943

Rotary Club Gualaceo in Ecuador has identified three middle schools and one high school in isolated areas of the Province of Azuay which would benefit from the installation of a Computer Laboratory thus advancing technology literacy throughout the Region, Continent, and the World using the motto of "The World In Our Hands." Funds will permit purchase of 34 computers, 3 laser printers and other accessories for these needy communities. The school district will make the necessary renovations, appropriate ventilation, security and maintain the equipment. Technical assistance will be provided to teachers and staff to assure proper use of the equipment. Funding of this project will enhance the educational opportunities of these students in the global and technical world. Adding the four computer labs will enhance technology opportunities to students as they advance toward higher grades and college/university levels.
