Student Breakfasts

$37,800

This project is a project of Serving Hands International

After conferring with principals at 3 schools in a poor neighborhood of Tijuana, Mission Valley Rotary club of San Diego decided to help in the education process by providing nutrious breakfasts for poor children in these schools for one full school year. Many of the poor families send their children to school without breakfast. The three schools we have selected are Jardin de Ninos Hermann Gmeiner, Lazaro Cardenas del Rio, and Nueva Creacion. These school are in the La Mesa Colonia. We have a quote from Compania Operadora De Servicios to supply and deliver these breakfasts for $1.00 per meal.
