This project is a project of Serving Hands International

In the hills outside of Tijuana proper, there are many colonias where families live in shacks where they have little or no protection from the rain and cold in the winter months. We are requesting funds to provide a warm blanket for 5000 of these families. We have contact with missionary sources in Tijuana that will assist us in the selection of the families and the distribution of the blankets. Rotarians were involved in the obtaining of the quotes and the selection of the company that will provide the blankets. Rotarians will also help in the distribution of the blankets. We request an early approval of this grant so we can distribute these blankets before the cold and rainy season is upon them.
