Of this population, 1250 are school children who are shared among 3 primary schools and one secondary school. The source of is a swampy stagnant pool of dirty water which is not safe for drinking and domestic use. Besides, it is a long distance from the schools. We plan to construct a protected well, with a motor engine and pump for pumping the water to a storage tunk of 10000 litres. Total Budget is USD 15000. Following our GSE visit to Shadowridge Rotary Club, I presented the need for safe water and sanitation in our District, particularly in Uganda.
