   Tunisia - Gammarth

SOS Orphans Vehicle

$18,500

This grant is for SOS Orphans of Tunisia, a social charity association that takes care of unsheltered children (orphans, abandoned or in danger) in Tunisia.

The grant budget will be used to acquire a perishable food transportation vehicule that would equally distribute the food that is received in the main SOS village of Gammarth to other less fortunate SOS villages throughout Tunisia. Specifically, providing fresh food to less fortunate orphans centers such as the one in Mahres and Siliana will tremendously enhance the quality of life of these centers, and will prevent waste of perishable food or children sickness.

The target date for vehicule acquisition is late April 2007.
